I'm the IT Librarian at the University of Maine at Farmington, the small-liberal-arts model campus of the UMaine system. I'm fascinated by all the ways we can use technology to make our lives better (for a definition of technology that also includes print books, of course), and I love playing with different tools and resources. My past experience includes work at an independent high school, doing technology project design for college faculty, and a range of community organisation and support roles (volunteering to help maintain sites, run events, and generally make things happen.)

Evenings generally find me at home with my computer, my cat, and a folk harp, but what I'm doing on the computer can range from writing to gaming to chatting with friends.
